Course Description

The City & Guilds 2391-52 qualification directly replaces the 2394 and 2395 qualifications. The new course structure benefits candidates by reducing assessment duplication, as only one combined qualification is required. Completing 2391-52 is the preferred option rather than taking the 2391-50 and 2391-51 as separate courses. Exams and assessments are now largely open book. This course is ideal for those that intend to carry out both Initial Verification (new electrical installations) and Periodic Inspection Reporting (existing electrical installation work).  The 2391 suite of qualifications are held in very high regard in the industry and are often a requirement for industry applications:
  • 2391-50 - a Competent Person Scheme requirement for signing off new installations
  • 2391-51 - a Competent Person Scheme requirement for carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports
  • 2391-52 - an Approved contractor Qualifying Supervisor requirement for Certification Bodies such as NICEIC and NAPIT
  • 2391-52 - a requirement for ECS/JIB Approved Electrician Gold card grading

I found going through the test sequence in correct order the most useful. Delivered simply not overcomplicated.

Just completed my 2391-52 Insp & Testing course and have to say the whole set up is 1st class from start to finish. The training was excellent and the guy doing it had unrivalled knowledge, he took the time to ensure all candidates had the dedication they required and took time to explain all when needed. The centre itself is immaculate and its facilities just as good. Ample parking, pleasant staff, good condition equipment and revision material.I’m writing this even though I didn’t pass everything this time round (got to nip back to re-sit my online exam), but that is by no way to do with the course.Definitely recommend Rebus to anyone wanted to expand their electrical background.

I past inspection and testing exam a week ago and AM2 last year, with hard work and preparation. I dont have enough words of appreciation. Professional , good facilities , supportive , very ,  very nice staff. John , Rob ,than Paul the AM2 assessor , and not to mention the most mannered , prompt helpful , sweet smile little secretary Andy. These people are not trained to be nice , these people there are nice by their nature , you can feel it.
