Company directors
Gary has worked in the electrical industry since starting an apprenticeship with Midlands Electricity Board. After qualifying as an electrician, he ran his own electrical contracting business before joining Siemens Industrial Projects & Systems.
During this time Gary gained a wide range of skills in electrical installation work, photovoltaic installations and electronic assembly lines. Gary has worked in the electrical training industry since 2001.
Jon joined Midlands Electricity Board as an apprentice electrician. Working as an electrician for many years, he specialised in the security industry, installing CCTV, door entry systems, intruder, and fire alarms. Jon's final years at the MEB were as a Project Engineer.
In 2003, Jon took the opportunity to join a training provider to work as a Training Advisor/Assessor supporting apprentice electricians. Jon has worked in the training industry since that time.
Apprenticeships team
Rhiannon joined the Rebus management team in 2022 and is responsible for the electrical installation and electrical maintenance Apprenticeship programmes.
Rhiannon has a strong background in administration, audit and compliance.
Peter is a time served electrician and has vast experience to share with our apprentice electricians.
Peter supports our electrical installation apprentices with regular site visits and carries out NVQ assessments to help apprentices achieve their Level 3 electrical qualifications.
Anne has a wealth of experience working in the apprenticeship training industry. As a member of our Apprenticeships team since 2019, Anne
works closely with apprentices, employers and schools to manage and fill apprenticeship vacancies. Anne is also responsible for liaising
with our apprentice electricians and oversees the Apprentice Voice survey.

Ruqayah completes progress review visits with apprentices here at Rebus, on site and at employer venues to ensure all parties remain fully informed throughout the apprenticeship programme.
Jayne has worked in educational settings for the last 20 years and is very experienced in delivering functional skills qualifications.
Many apprentices require functional skills to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to fulfil their potential as electricians and future engineers.
Jayne works closely with our apprentices, providing bespoke coaching and support sessions to achieve the required level in maths and English.
Delivery team
Rob started his career by completing an electrical apprenticeship with a local company before working as a self-employed electrician. Rob has since worked as an Approved Electrician, Qualifying Supervisor and Electrical Training Officer.
Having worked in the training industry since 2007 Rob is an experienced Tutor / NVQ Assessor and Programme Manager.
Starting as a tutor and assessor in 2015, Rob now manages our delivery team, ensuring all courses are delivered to our usual high standard.
Shaun is a qualified tutor and assessor with a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Having run his own business and worked for some established contracting companies, Shaun is well placed to add ‘something extra’ to his course delivery.
Shaun is a very approachable trainer and can relate training sessions to customers work, making it more enjoyable and easier to learn. Shaun specialises in 18th Edition, Electrical Design and Apprenticeship course delivery.
Simon trained as an electrician with NORWEB and has accumulated a wide range of experience working predominantly in the industrial sector.
Simon has worked as an engineer in several production environments learning skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Simon delivers a range of our courses such as 18th Edition, Electrical Duty Holder, Authorised Person and Electrical Maintenance.
Chris has a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry.
Chris first joined Rebus in 2018 and is now a key member of our apprenticeship course delivery team.
Keith is a highly experienced electrician with over 25 years of experience with the local electricity board.
More recently, Keith has worked as a self-employed electrician and electrical trainer.
A fully qualified tutor and assessor, Keith now delivers a number of our courses, including 18th Edition and Domestic Electrical Installer courses.
Julian is a recent recruit to our team, joining in January 2023. Julian is a qualified and experienced electrician.
Julian's main responsibility will be practical training for our apprentice and evening NVQ 3 learners.
Kevin has years of industry experience, having completed an electrical apprenticeship with a local council and subsequently worked in various roles at a significant housing association.
Kevin has completed a wide range of electrical and H&S qualifications during his career and has supported the development of electrical apprentices in the workplace.
Previously one of our AM2 Instructors, Kevin now teaches the 2391 course.
Administration team
Louise is the main point of contact for many of our customers and trainees. She has an extensive experience in providing high levels of customer service, having worked for a major mobile telecommunications company in the past.
Using her experience and skills gained, Louise has been the Rebus organiser since 2014! Need any assistance, Lou will be pleased to help you!
Jo monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.
Jo also supports our Admin team with exam invigilation, course bookings and welcoming learners to the centre.
Jo has worked in eduction for a number of years and is now an important member of reception and administration team here at Rebus.
Annette works closely with our Administration team ensuring exams are conducted correctly.
