Gary joined the electrical industry aged 17 through an apprenticeship scheme with Midlands Electricity Board. After qualifying as an electrician he ran his own electrical contracting business before going on to join Siemens Industrial Projects & Systems. During this time Gary gained a wide range of skills in electrical installation work, photovoltaic installations and electronic assembly lines.
Gary has worked in the training sector since 2001 as an NVQ assessor, Quality Assurer and Tutor.
Gary’s role at Rebus involves:
- Working with customers to develop bespoke on-site training solutions
- Business marketing and customer relations
- Developing partnerships with employers and promoting electrical apprenticeships
Jon completed an electrical apprenticeship with Midlands Electricity Board (MEB). After qualifying and working as an electrician for a number of years he specialised in the security industry, installing systems including CCTV, door entry systems, intruder and fire alarms. After progressing to Project Engineer Jon took the opportunity of a complete change in career and moved into training.
Jon has worked in training since 2003 and is now responsible for Quality Assurance, Training Delivery and AM2 Centre Management.
Jon still plays an active role in delivery and specialises in:
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing
- City & Guilds 2396 Design, Erection & Verification
Jon prides himself on going the extra mile to support his learners with his relaxed and friendly approach.
Rob started his career by completing an electrical apprenticeship with a local company before working as a self-employed electrician. Rob has since worked as an Approved Electrician, Qualifying Supervisor and Electrical Training Officer.
Having worked in the training industry since 2007 Rob is an experienced Tutor / NVQ Assessor and Programme Manager.
As well as being part of our Management Team, Rob can also be found helping with the delivery of 18th Edition, EV Charging and Inspection and Testing courses.
Louise is the main point of contact for many of our customers and trainees. She has a very strong background in providing high levels of customer service having worked for a major mobile telecommunications company. Using her experience and skills gained, Louise organizes everyone here at Rebus!

Shaun is a qualified tutor and assessor with a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Having run his own business and worked for some established contracting companies Shaun is well placed to add ‘something extra’ to his course delivery.
Shaun is a very approachable trainer and able to relate training sessions to customers work, making it more enjoyable and easier to learn.
Shaun specialises in 18th Edition, Electrical Design and Apprenticeship course delivery.
Chris entered the electrical industry by starting a formal apprenticeship in 1987 with a local contractor. He has years of experience working in domestic, commercial & industrial environments where he extensively covered maintenance & installation contracts.
The main part of his career involved working as an Approved Electrician & Qualifying Supervisor where responsibilities included the supervision of colleagues, training of apprentices & the quality assurance of electrical certification/reporting.
His main duties at Rebus Training include delivery as part of the apprenticeship team, commercial courses & NVQ assessments.
Kevin has years of industry experience having completed an electrical apprenticeship with a local council and subsequently worked in a variety of roles at a large housing association.
During his career Kevin has completed a wide range of electrical and H&S qualifications and has supported the development of electrical apprentices in recent years.
Kevin is the main AM2 Instructor for our NET Approved AM2 centre which opened in 2016.
Caroline has completed electrical qualifications including Domestic Electrical Installer, 18th Edition and City & Guilds Level 3 Inspection & Testing (2394/2395).
Caroline is our dedicated Apprentice Coordinator ensuring apprentices remain safe, make progress and achieve their electrical qualifications.
Caroline has a key role working closely with employers and other partners to ensure that opportunities exist for young people to progress into the electrical industry.
Ayesha is one of the first people you will meet when you come to our training centre. She has a strong focus on customer service and will always offer you a warm welcome.
Ayesha has successfully completed a Business Administration Apprenticeship and is currently studying further in this field.
Ayesha books and prepares all of our exam sittings, she can often be found invigilating an exam and ensuring they run smoothly.
As our Finance Manager, Jo monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions. Jo also supports our Admin team with course bookings and welcoming learners to the centre.
Anne has a wealth of experience working in administration within the training industry.
As a member of our Apprenticeships team, Anne works with apprentices, employers and training providers.
