Company directors

Gary Jackson Joint Managing Director

Gary has worked in the electrical industry since starting an apprenticeship with Midlands Electricity Board. After qualifying as an electrician, he ran his own electrical contracting business before joining Siemens Industrial Projects & Systems.

During this time Gary gained a wide range of skills in electrical installation work, photovoltaic installations and electronic assembly lines. Gary has worked in the electrical training industry since 2001.

Jon Grocock Joint Managing Director


Jon joined Midlands Electricity Board as an apprentice electrician. Working as an electrician for many years, he specialised in the security industry, installing CCTV, door entry systems, intruder, and fire alarms. Jon's final years at the MEB were as a Project Engineer.

In 2003, Jon took the opportunity to join a training provider to work as a Training Advisor/Assessor supporting apprentice electricians. Jon has worked in the training industry since that time.

Apprenticeships team


Fern Bell Apprenticeships Manager

Fern joined the Rebus management team in 2021 and is responsible for the electrical installation and electrical maintenance Apprenticeship programmes.

Fern has a strong background in administration, training, and management, having worked for the DWP and a large UK airline.

Deanna Tighe Apprenticeships Liaison Officer


Deanna works with our Apprenticeships Team to ensure that our electrician apprentices are provided with the necessary support to enjoy their training and achieve their graded status in the electrical industry.

Deanna is often out and about completing progress reviews with apprentices and visiting our employers to provide regular updates.

Peter Williamson Electrical Training Advisor

Peter is a time served electrician and has vast experience to share with our apprentice electricians.

Peter supports our electrical installation apprentices with regular site visits and carries out NVQ assessments to help apprentices achieve their Level 3 electrical qualifications.


Anne Edge Apprenticeships Liaison Officer

Anne has a wealth of experience working in administration within the training industry. As a member of our Apprenticeships team, Anne works with apprentices, employers and training providers.

Jayne Bourne Functional Skills Co-ordinator


Jayne has worked in educational settings for the last 20 years and is very experienced in delivering functional skills qualifications.

Many apprentices require functional skills to ensure that they have the knowledge and skills to fulfil their potential as electricians and future engineers.

Jayne works closely with our apprentices, providing bespoke coaching and support sessions to achieve the required level in maths and English.

Delivery team

Rob Glover Training Manager

Rob started his career by completing an electrical apprenticeship with a local company before working as a self-employed electrician. Rob has since worked as an Approved Electrician, Qualifying Supervisor and Electrical Training Officer.

Having worked in the training industry since 2007 Rob is an experienced Tutor / NVQ Assessor and Programme Manager.

Rob manages our delivery team, ensuring all courses are delivered to our usual high standard.

Chris Tatton Electrical Tutor and Assessor

Chris entered the electrical industry by starting a formal apprenticeship in 1987 with a local contractor. He has years of experience working in domestic, commercial & industrial environments as an Approved Electrician & Qualifying Supervisor.

Chris is an experienced member of the delivery team here at Rebus and loves electrical science!

Shaun Eardley Electrical Tutor/Assessor and Quality Assurer

Shaun is a qualified tutor and assessor with a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry.  Having run his own business and worked for some established contracting companies, Shaun is well placed to add ‘something extra’ to his course delivery.

Shaun is a very approachable trainer and can relate training sessions to customers work, making it more enjoyable and easier to learn. Shaun specialises in 18th Edition, Electrical Design and Apprenticeship course delivery.

John Davies Electrical Tutor and Assessor

John is an experienced electrician, running his own business for several years and later working for electrical product manufacturers.

John was voted apprentice tutor of the year for 2021 by our apprentices and evening group learners.

John mainly provides training to our apprentice groups and loves delivering wiring regulations and design units!

Simon Hodgkiss Electrical Tutor and Assessor

Simon trained as an electrician with NORWEB and has accumulated a wide range of experience working predominantly in the industrial sector.

Simon has worked as an engineer in several production environments learning skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

Simon delivers a range of our courses such as 18th Edition, Electrical Duty Holder, Authorised Person and Electrical Maintenance.

Keith Martin Electrical Tutor and Assessor

Keith is a highly experienced electrician with over 25 years of experience with the local electricity board.

More recently, Keith has worked as a self-employed electrician and electrical trainer.

A fully qualified tutor and assessor, Keith now delivers a number of our courses, including 18th Edition and Domestic Electrical Installer courses.

Kevin Brough AM2 Instructor/Tutor

Kevin has years of industry experience, having completed an electrical apprenticeship with a local council and subsequently worked in various roles at a significant housing association.

Kevin has completed a wide range of electrical and H&S qualifications during his career and has supported the development of electrical apprentices in the workplace.

Kevin is the primary AM2 Instructor for our NET Approved AM2/AM2s and AM2e centre, which opened in 2016.

Administration team

Louise Russell Operations Manager

Louise is the main point of contact for many of our customers and trainees. She has an extensive experience in providing high levels of customer service, having worked for a major mobile telecommunications company in the past.

Using her experience and skills gained, Louise organizes everyone here at Rebus! Need any assistance, Lou will be pleased to help you!

Jo Finnerty Finance Manager


Jo monitors the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

Jo also supports our Admin team with exam invigilation, course bookings and welcoming learners to the centre.

Ayesha Parveen Receptionist/ Administrator

Ayesha is one of the first people you will meet when you come to our training centre. She has a strong focus on customer service and will always offer you a warm welcome.

While working with Rebus, Ayesha has completed a Level 2 and Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship.

Ayesha books and prepares many of our exam sittings, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Ellie Williams Receptionist/ Administrator

Ellie is one of our newer recruits and is already an excellent addition to the administration team.

Having achieved excellent college results, Ellie is now working towards her first apprenticeship qualification at Rebus.

Working in reception, Ellie greets customers attending the centre and helps customers with phone and email enquiries.
