Course Description
This popular 1-day course is a hands-on testing workshop. You will quickly improve your knowledge and understanding of testing principles in a small group.Training sessions are very flexible, and course candidates can work on either single or three-phase training rigs. Depending on your reason for attending this course, you will also choose to develop your skills relating to the correct completion of the EIC / EICR documentation.
This workshop is ideal if you already have knowledge of inspection and testing and require to refresh and update your skills at a low cost. This workshop is excellent preparation for:
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing course
- City & Guilds 2919 Electric Vehicle Charging course
- Inspection and testing assessment resit
- AM2 inspection and testing assessment
- A general update before a Certification Body compliance visit (NICEIC/NAPIT etc.)
Overview
About this course…
Typically in a small group of up to six candidates, you will agree with your trainer on what you want to achieve from this session. Your training will then be tailored to help you achieve your goal for the day.
We have a range of testing rigs to work on, and you will be able to practice completion of the Electrical Installation Certificate and Electrical Installation Condition Report and associated schedules.
You will be provided with a Megger MFT 1700 series tester for use during your training. If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your test equipment with you, provided you are familiar with its operation and have a current calibration certificate.
