Our safe isolation course covers the following topics, which can be tailored to meet your needs if required:
· Legislation and guidance with particular focus on the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989
· Dangers arising from failure to safely isolate
· Test and isolation equipment requirements
· Safe isolation procedures
· Practical safe isolation assessment
· Short multiple choice test
The course includes theory and practical training and we will supply all equipment. Delegates would be issued with a Certificate of Training
on successful completion of the course.

Tutors
Jon joined Midlands Electricity Board as an apprentice electrician. Working as an electrician for many years, he specialised in the security industry, installing CCTV, door entry systems, intruder, and fire alarms. Jon's final years at the MEB were as a Project Engineer.
In 2003, Jon took the opportunity to join a training provider to work as a Training Advisor/Assessor supporting apprentice electricians. Jon has worked in the training industry since that time.
Shaun is a qualified tutor and assessor with a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Having run his own business and worked for some established contracting companies, Shaun is well placed to add ‘something extra’ to his course delivery.
Shaun is a very approachable trainer and can relate training sessions to customers work, making it more enjoyable and easier to learn. Shaun specialises in 18th Edition, Electrical Design and Apprenticeship course delivery.
