Domestic Electrical Installer Courses
Domestic Electrical Installer courses (commonly referred to as Part P courses) are an ideal route into the electrical industry. Throughout this course, you will gain knowledge and practical skills that, when combined with site experience, will enable you to safely work on domestic electrical installations. This includes full rewires, amending existing circuits, adding new circuits, replacing consumer units etc.
Many course candidates will go on to set up their own Domestic Electrical Installer business. As part of this process, you may need to register with a Competent Person Scheme so that you can easily sign off your electrical installation work.
This training programme includes the latest City & Guilds and LCL Level 3 qualifications to match the technical competence requirements of the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification and Competent Person Schemes (NICEIC, NAPIT and STROMA). You will however need to consider any individual requirements they may have and the need for job experience.
