Course DescriptionDuring this intensive training session you will work 1-1 with an experienced and qualified electrical tutor. The tutor will assess your current skill levels and suggest a training programme that will be beneficial to you.
About this course….
1-1 training is ideal if you lack confidence or do not have recent experience in any key areas such as inspection & testing. In a relaxed and friendly training environment you will make quick progress. This training can be booked for 1 or more days.
Who is it suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone that wishes to sit the AM2 Assessment. Depending on your experience and skills you will need to choose either a 1-day workshop, 2 day workshop or 1-1 training. 1-1 training can be ideal if you have limited experience in one or more important skills areas..
- Free book hire (BS7671 and GN3 etc) during days of attendance
- All tools, materials and equipment
Course entry requirements?
You will normally have completed formal electrical installation training and have suitable site experience
Training is both theory and practical based. There is no formal assessment.

Shaun is a qualified tutor and assessor with a wealth of experience in the electrical contracting industry. Having run his own business and worked for some established contracting companies Shaun is well placed to add ‘something extra’ to his course delivery.
Shaun is a very approachable trainer and able to relate training sessions to customers work, making it more enjoyable and easier to learn.
Shaun specialises in 18th Edition, Electrical Design and Apprenticeship course delivery.
Rob started his career by completing an electrical apprenticeship with a local company before working as a self-employed electrician. Rob has since worked as an Approved Electrician, Qualifying Supervisor and Electrical Training Officer.
Having worked in the training industry since 2007 Rob is an experienced Tutor / NVQ Assessor and Programme Manager.
As well as being part of our Management Team, Rob can also be found helping with the delivery of 18th Edition, EV Charging and Inspection and Testing courses.
Chris entered the electrical industry by starting a formal apprenticeship in 1987 with a local contractor. He has years of experience working in domestic, commercial & industrial environments where he extensively covered maintenance & installation contracts.
The main part of his career involved working as an Approved Electrician & Qualifying Supervisor where responsibilities included the supervision of colleagues, training of apprentices & the quality assurance of electrical certification/reporting.
His main duties at Rebus Training include delivery as part of the apprenticeship team, commercial courses & NVQ assessments.
