Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Part-Time Administrator to join our growing Apprenticeships
Team.
This role is ideal for a self-motivated, polite, and professional individual with an excellent telephone manner, strong organisational
skills, and a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will provide timely and accurate administrative support, working closely with employers, apprenticeship applicants,
and internal team members. A flexible and proactive approach to work is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering telephone calls, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages
- Liaising with employers and apprenticeship applicants in a professional manner
- Coordinating initial assessments for apprenticeship applicants and supporting with marketing events
- Supporting and being involved in the apprenticeship onboarding process
- Taking accurate minutes at meetings and dis tributing actions as required
- Maintaining and updating customer databases
- Providing general administrative support across the organisation
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced administrative role

Good IT skills, including data entry and database management and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Excellent written English and numeracy skills
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and well-organised
- Ability to deal with enquiries in a friendly, professional, and effective manner
- Excellent telephone manner
- Suitability to work with children and young people
Desirable
- Experience working within the training or education sector (desirable but not essential)
Safeguarding
As this role involves working with young people aged 16–18, the successful applicant will be required to undergo safeguarding checks,
including references from previous employers and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
